outstanding service to its patients. The physician faculty of UT
Southwestern, serving patients of all ages, offers that care in a
number
of hospital and clinical settings, including UT Southwestern University
Hospitals & Clinics, Parkland Health & Hospital System, Children's
Medical Center Dallas, VA North Texas Health Care System, and a number
of other affiliated hospitals and clinics in Dallas and Fort Worth.
UT Southwestern's faculty and residents annually provide inpatient
hospital care to nearly 89,000 people and oversee approximately 2.1
million outpatient visits. They deliver almost 16,500 babies at
Parkland
and UT Southwestern University Hospitals and provide $324 million in
un-reimbursed professional services annually. |

The 300-bed facility is located on the northwest quadrant of the Harry Hines Boulevard and Inwood Road intersection. Referral services for UT Southwestern that are primarily based at St. Paul include cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, heart and lung transplantation, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedic surgery, and vascular surgery. |

The 152-bed facility on the South Campus is adjacent to Parkland. Faculty physicians provide diagnostic neurological services and treatments, including stroke patient care, primarily at Zale Lipshy as well as opthalmology, oral surgery, psychiatric and other services.
General internal medicine and surgery services are offered at both sites as well as breast care, gastroenterology, geriatric services, head and neck surgery, nephrology, surgical oncology, vascular sugery, radiology, and physical medicine and rehabilitation. |
